Welcome to FollowerMap ("we", "our", or "us"), a platform that enables creators to create polls, share links with followers, and map their locations anonymously using aggregated data. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of FollowerMap's website, services, and platform (collectively, "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services. These Terms apply to both creators (users who create polls) and followers (users who respond to polls).

FollowerMap allows creators to create polls, share them with followers via links, and visualize responses on an interactive map using anonymized city/region data. By using our Services, you agree to the following:

To create polls, you must register an account and may need a paid subscription ($19.99/month or $191.90/year, as outlined on our pricing page).

• Provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
• Secure your account credentials; you are responsible for all activities under your account.
• Subscriptions are subject to our refund policy (7-day money-back guarantee).
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms or engaging in fraudulent activity.

To ensure one response per follower per poll, we use a privacy-first deduplication process:

• We generate temporary, anonymized identifiers for poll responses, which are deleted after the poll ends (e.g., 7 days).
• No raw IP addresses or personal identifiers are stored.
• Only aggregated data (e.g., city/region counts, demographic summaries) is retained for mapping.
• Creators agree to use poll data responsibly and not attempt to re-identify followers.

The FollowerMap platform, including its design, code, maps, text, and graphics, is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of our content is prohibited.

• Poll questions created by users remain their intellectual property, but aggregated results and map visualizations are owned by FollowerMap.
• Creators may export visualizations for personal or commercial use with attribution to FollowerMap.
• Third-party websites linking to FollowerMap must obtain permission and avoid framing or inline linking.

FollowerMap provides the Services "as is" and does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of poll results or map visualizations, which depend on voluntary follower responses.

• We are not liable for disputes arising from poll content, follower responses, or user interpretations of data.
• Users are responsible for their content (e.g., poll questions, shared links) and must indemnify FollowerMap against claims related to their use of the Services, including legal fees.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Services.
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for your subscription, where applicable.

While we strive to provide reliable Services, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free performance.

• Poll results are illustrative and may not reflect scientific sampling methods.
• We may suspend or modify Services for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without notice.
• We reserve the right to moderate or remove polls that violate these Terms or harm the platform's integrity.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm the platform or its users.

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings.
• Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.
• Subscription fees are non-refunded except under our refund policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Auckland, New Zealand, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

For users in the EU or other regions, mandatory local laws may apply, and we will comply with such requirements.
